It has been suggested that the upper portion of the Post Office just handed over to the City should not be called the "New Town Hall," but the "Newton" Hall, in order to associate the restitution with the present Governor. [At the time Lieut. Governor Newton was acting as Governor.]

The Kingston Choral Union Concert took place last Tuesday evening, and although not patronized to the extent anticipated, the programme was earned out with fidelity, especially the sacred parts, in which the singers excelled. |

The Kingston Choral Union will give another of their excellent concerts at the St. George's School Room on the 22nd inst. when an attractive programme will be presented. The Choral Union deservedly enjoys the good opinion of the people of Kingston, and it is only necessary to announce their fourth concert to ensure a large attendance.

The Kingston Choral Union will give its fourth Concert at the Town Hall, on Monday evening next, and as usual has presented an attractive programme.
